At the Bodhi Peace Collective we are passionate about south Nanaimo. We are so passionate about where we live, we are excited to begin working to bring possitive change to Harewood.


We are looking for all kinds of people who would like to get involved.


Particular skills that would be helpful include: organizers, gardeners, dancers, artists, singers, children, poets, earth lovers, community advocates, students, business people, hippies, cyclists, car drivers, teachers, doctors, anyone and everyone.


Some ideas for short and long term projects inclue:


~ Short term ~

• Fifth st. garbage clean up walk. 
• For anyone who loves Harewood, and also loves walking with friends.

• Planting perennial flowers up and down fifth st. 
• For those who love Harewood, and also love planting flowers.

• Community mail box on the railroad tacks - for spontaneous gifting.
• This  would be a place for people to leave a poem, a thought (written or otherwise), flowers, cookies, a little gift, ect, anything you would like to leave for the next passer by.

~ Longer projects ~

• Community gardening here at the Bodhi Peace Collective.
